Ethan is 6

Where to begin with this little rug-rat?  He is a bundle (a very large bundle) of energy and joy.  Full, overflowing actually, with energy.  He is our child that most resembles the Energizer Bunny.  He is also the jokester of the family.  I asked Emily what to say about Ethan and she said, "he makes us laugh, and he makes us cry, end of story."  By making us cry, she meant not just emotionally like most kids do, but physically...in fact, most of our tears because of Ethan are because of physical pain that he exerts on us, and his siblings.  He is such a fun kid though!  He literally goes non-stop until bedtime, and then he is out within minutes.  We love this kid!

Seriously? They are 2?!?  Wow, time goes fast!  I remember it like it was yesterday that we were going to the NICU to visit these little babies.  What a journey it has been.  From switching oxygen tanks to watching them take their first steps.  From watching them learn to talk to figuring out that they can tackle each other.  It has been such a memory-filled, fast-paced, CRAZY, two years.  They have become so much fun, if you like chasing kids, listening to screaming and crying, laughing, giggling, babbling, etc...it is definitely non-stop at our house from the hours of 7am-7pm, with a "non-negotiable, don't bother us from 1-3 quiet time".  We love these little babies, and we couldn't imagine our lives without them.  Happy Birthday triplets!

Hutchings' Happenings

Wow, it's been awhile.  It has been so long that I realized as I went to look for the bookmark button to bring me to our blog, I noticed that Emily had taken it off of our bookmark bar.  Then I realized that I couldn't remember the name of it.  That's when panic set in.  I mean where else is everyone going to see pictures of our family and learn what has been happening to the Hutchings since June?  I couldn't stand the thought of not being able to share our lives with everyone on the web.  But don't worry, my panic attack soon left me because I realized that we have instagram and facebook, and could breathe easy because 99% of the pictures I will post here today have been seen already.  Wait...now I'm confused as to why we even keep going back to this blog when it's been seen already.  Oh well, I will try and figure that out, but in the meantime, please enjoy the Hutchings' Happenings over the last 4-5 months.
